Surface Preparation: The substrate should be clean and free from oil or contaminants.
Loose debris should be removed and the surface wire brushed. Flowpatch can be applied to damp (not wet) concrete.
Mixing: Gradually add 2¼ lbs of Flowpatch aggregate to 6-8 fl oz of water mixing continuously to achieve pourable slurry. Add the aggregate to the water. Mixing is easiest done by hand, with a flat bladed tool to reduce air bubbles and to squeeze out any lumps of unmixed aggregate. Do not add excessive amounts of water; the curing time of Flowpatch will increase and the performance may be impaired. Once mixed, curing begins very quickly, so the mixture should be applied immediately. Do not re-stir as this could potentially weaken the final repair. Do not mix more than you can use within a few minutes. The remaining aggregate can be stored for future use. Pot Life is 5 to 10 minutes at 70°F.
Application: When a smooth consistency has been produced, simply pour Flowpatch™ into the damaged area. After proper mixing, the repair will self-level and need minimal trowelling. Flowpatch resists oils and grease.
